Assigning Additional Users to an Assignment

If you need to involve more team members on an assignment, you can do so by using the Add Additional Assignee button. This allows another user to gain access to the order and receive email notifications.

Shared Files

The Shared Files section on the assignment page is where files travel in both directions. Every file the lender has shared with the assignment is collected there, and it is also where you upload your own work files for them.

If a document you are expecting from the lender is not there, add a note on the assignment, mark it Urgent, and ask them for it — Dwelling Blocks cannot see files that were never shared with the order. See Missing a File You Need From the Lender.

Note: A report uploaded to Shared Files will not be processed. To submit your report, upload it to the Completed Reports section of the assignment — see Completing an Assignment.

Communicating with the Lender Client

The Notes Section allows you to send messages directly to the lender client. See Notes for when to use it and when to mark a note urgent.

• If any information on the order is incorrect or incomplete (e.g., missing or incorrect contact information for access), use the Notes Section and mark the note as Requires Attention.

Watch/Unwatch Assignments

Click Unwatch at the top of the page to pause email notifications. Click Watch again to resume the notifications.

Additional Actions

• Print the assignment details — open the three dots button in the order header and choose Print. A new page opens; click Print there to finish.
• Navigate to the property — the address links straight out to Google Maps or Apple Maps.
• Copy the address to your clipboard.
