Coverage Areas

Your coverage areas are the counties, and optionally the individual ZIP codes, where you are available to take assignments. Keeping them accurate is what keeps the assignments you are offered aligned with where you actually work.
Steps to Set or Update Coverage Areas
- Access the Coverage Area:
- Go to your profile.
- Scroll down to the Coverage Area section to view any current counties covered.
- Adding New Coverage Areas:
- Click Add Coverage to open the coverage setup window.
- Select the state and then search for or scroll to select the counties you will cover.
- Adding Multiple Counties:
- You can add multiple counties by searching for a county, selecting Add County for each one, and then repeating the process until all desired counties are added.
- Click Save to apply the coverage area updates.
- Updating or Removing Existing Coverage Areas:
- To make changes to existing coverage, simply select the coverage area you wish to modify and update or remove counties as needed.
- Each state appears as its own card showing how many counties it covers. The three dots on a state card offer Update and Remove.
Narrowing a County to Specific ZIP Codes
Coverage does not have to stop at the county. A county you cover is marked Fully Covered, and you can narrow it to only the ZIP codes you actually work.
- Find the county on its state card and click the pencil icon beside it.
- Select the ZIP codes you want to include. There is a search box, and Select All and Deselect All buttons, with a running count of how many are selected.
- Click Save.
The county then lists the individual ZIP codes instead of the Fully Covered badge.
To go back the other way, open the same dialog and choose Switch to full county coverage.
You cannot save a county with nothing selected. If you want to stop covering it entirely, remove the county rather than clearing its ZIP codes.
Why this is worth doing. A county can be large enough that one corner of it is an unreasonable drive. Narrowing to ZIP codes keeps you eligible for the parts you actually serve, instead of declining orders from the far side.
Keeping your coverage areas current makes sure the assignments you are offered match the regions you actually serve.
